We've been using VoIP for quite a few years now. Been using 2Talk since
about 2007 or so. As long as you have a decent Internet connection you
shouldn't have any issues. It's quite flexible as you mentioned.<br><br>
You sound like you're only going to use it for outgoing calling which is
a good way to get more comfortable with VoIP. You can port your existing
landline number over if you wanted to go all the way.<br><br>
There's a SIP client built into recent Android builds and third party
clients for builds which don't have that.<br><br>
