It's a Spartan 3E-250, programmed and powered over an onboard USB
interface. I've already got one (and a prototype of it's big
brother) and it is great. <br>

You can also buy a few 'wings' for interfaces like switches, VGA and
logic shifting. With two logic shifting wing s you can use it as a
32 channel logic 100MHz analyser (see <a
