Software support from free compilers for the MSP430 is generally lousy.<br>
The IAR stuff only runs on MS-Windows; the $0-version has a code size<br>
limit beyond which things get VERY EXPENSIVE. For proper debugging a FET<br>
debugging adapter is probably required, they're not half price...<br>
