Very good idea.<br>

This is after all a robotics club, and while a robot fishing for flies
would be interesting (and challenging), I'm not convinced its on
theme....nice try.<br>

The robot war challenges are great, and will spur something on, but
while its great to have a 300g limit, I'm with Jimmy on another weight
class.<br>
I propose that we have a 600g limit for the July/Aug, with
sumo/incapacitate (no weapons that cause damage).<br>
<br>
Further can we schedule something for Autonomous only maybe later in
the year.<br>
<br>
One other thing that could be useful to new members is a construction
challenge, to build a robot capable of entering into some of the
soccer/rescue/maze challenges.<br>
The details of the build are required to be documented, and it should
also include parts source and code (so anyone can build), and then it
can be published on the website.<br>
<br>
As part of this, some presentations on sensing (line, obstacle,
position, flame, etc) could be done to aid others.<br>
We have a wide range of very clever people in our midst, and I'm sure
some of them have some novel and inventive solutions, as well as cheap
sources.<br>
