You can find surface mount ones used for brushless motors on disk drives. Check out 3.5" floppy drives, CD-ROMs and probably hard drives - look for a surface mount device near the windings of the motor for the disk spindle - looks like a SOT23 which the magnets pass over.<BR>

Another source could be an 80's+ car - they are used in various places especially for speed detection e.g. slip detection for brakes.<BR>

I have also seen them on various old printers and video recorders.<BR>
