Companies like Anthropic and "Open"AI have figured out that
serving sycophantic models results in more revenue, as it ends up most
humans love having their egos stroked. The end result is people like our
friend Joel here become overly confident in the outputs of a token
generator.

Once again, a combination of poorly understood technology and human
stupidity produce predictable results.
