Mark good morning, I totally agree with the complainant. Animals should be banned during our meetups.
I am not against animals as I grew up with 2000 on a farm.
I realise animal owners love their pets, but others don’t.
We are a professional group of people. That night, brilliant talk from Dave, the owner did not consider others.
They assumed we all like dogs. Having a "leash arrangement" invites issues.

All,

Just had a member voicing his extreme discomfort over having a dog loose at the robotics meeting on Monday.

I am loathed to request an outright ban (as has been suggested), but also understand that if you have your pooch with you for the evening that BR05 does not mind occasional visits from dogs.

As some kind of compromise, I would ask that pets be on a reasonable length leash, and due consideration be given to other members.

And please, I know you lot, this isn't free reign to bring goats, rabbits, or small horses along just to prove a point :)

Anyway, please just a little consideration.
