Hello everyone,

Great turnout with 38 attendees, and lots of huddles-of tech-talk. $50 +
change (in gold, and flat-money) collected and transferred into the
robotics loose-change jar (for later banking).

All sales from the trading table should go into the brown box on the
wall, and are directly for the benefit of our host club, Christchurch
Amateur Radio Club, NZART Branch 05.

Equipment donations are welcome for the trading table, but no CRT based
product, printers, toner or items that are likely to be a disposal burden.

With thanks on behalf of the group,

Mark Atherton

===========

Mark talked about his GX35 dyno project; a GX35-based four-stroke test
platform with servo controlled throttle, processor controlled 20-600W
load, and Android GUI.

He also talked about his long-time interest in FPGAs, which are purely
digital. An analogue version has been spotted. Matt Venn (Tiny Tapeout)
recently interviewed Peter Kinget, creator of MOSbius - A field
programmable transistor array. Fascinating project.

Dave Jagger was our guest speaker. He worked for ARM for many years, and
was architect for many other their microprocessor families. Stunning
talk, that received lots of complements.
