[chbot] PCB hotplate recommendations

Mining for information again. Been looking at a few hotplates and they seem
to come in two varieties - either blowing air through a mesh (e.g. KADA
853V) onto the underside of a PCB or as a flat plate (e.g. UYUE 946C) that
conducts onto the PCB.
Obviously different but presumably the former is best if you have through
hole parts but the latter will (I expect) have better temperature control.
Opinions?
