[chbot] Urgent help with disk partitioning

/proc/mdstat tells me I have to wait another 6 hours before I find out if
it's OK !!
It's only 3x 3Tb drives but rehacking the parity to the new disk (the array
is about full) means writing nearly 3Tb.

I'll try & remember how I did this current machine as that is 3x4Tb with a
4Tb hot spare but at least I won't be shopping for a compatible drive after
8 years so long as the standby works OK.
