The AR glasses I had with me yesterday are called XReal Air. There's lots of sellers, here's a link to one:

The back story to me being interested in these things is that a long time ago (pre-electric unicycle, around 2016) I used a bi-convex lens and a cheap OLED to make a little HUD for whatever info/stats I wanted, and I built a prototype and coded up an MQTT client in LUA on an ESP8266 that showed whatever text was posted into the HUD topic. And it worked fine, but it was front-heavy and I put the idea aside because in the end I didn't have strong use-case for wearing it in front of three monitors.

This is a picture of my old prototype: http://temp.ediy.nz/public/img/oledglasses.jpg - beware the large fuzzy photo that will leap out at you.

More recently I wanted something to show the bluetooth speed and voltage data for the electric unicycle to me in real time while browsing for parts I stumbled onto these glasses that had just come out. These XReal Air glasses solve the problem much better than expected for now, and I'm sure better and lighter things will come along soon enough.

Rather than buying the XReal Beam module I bought a new mobile phone instead (check the compatibility charts for your phone, it must support a video signal out of the USB-C port which my Google Pixel 2XL didn't have). The LG V50S has been a good phone so far and has a lot of features and good specs for the price, and full support for all the AR stuff.
