Killing 2 birds with one stone here.

Repco have got lots of clutch slave cylinders in their clearance items 
for $6 or less...

Robin might be able to use them in a design (with appropriate leverage) 
that doesn't nut him when closed.

The rest of you - I could think of a few applications for them such as 
bed leveling.

You can put 2 of them to use in a closed hydraulic circuit that keeps 
something level as it is moved around - that's how the bucket in a 
bucket truck stays level as the boom is moved up and down.

If you look at a bucket truck there's a BIG hydraulic cylinder that 
lifts the boom, but there's a smaller cylinder sitting there near it - 
that's the bottom leveler. The top leveler is hidden inside the top of 
the boom.
