Just found an interesting reference: "Norton Surplus (Southern 
California) appear to have a Lunar Module decent engine available for sale".

Norton's aerospace page has other interesting things

So maybe it's time to start planning that trip, and sorting out how to 
get the container loaded and shipped back to NZ !
