Regarding that point below, it would be fair to mention that these cylinders for solar-thermal
are actually performing about twice the storage functionality per volume as compared to the
usual electrically powered cylinders, because the cylinders for solar-thermal heating are
running at up to 120C under light pressure. So yes, they do cost a bit more, but they are
probably still beating a battery in terms of long-term TCO for storage...

I know quite a few people in NZ and Germany who have solar-thermal hot water systems and are
very happy with their mileage and performance, even after over 20 years of operation.
