[chbot] PID ball project

Just found this from Great Scott on youtube -

Great balance of technology - touch screen, ball bearing, two-axis servo 
control, and dual dimension PID controller.

Just need to add some automated tricks, like lissajous rolling patterns, 
and maybe a small spotlamp which follows the ball around ...

Any suggestions for other implementations, or god forbid, an actual 
use-case ?
