I have some very old ones of these, and they work approximately as
advertised. However, rumour has it cheap car ciggie USB adapters have
been known to fail and pump 12V up smartphones.

The last one of these I ordered on ali for a friend only made it to
about 700mA before running out of oomph, so I demanded my money back and
left 1 star. Any NZ seller should set you straight as well.
