Subject: [chbot] SMD components

Our fine friends at Trimble have donated a whole pile of SMD stuff to the BR05 radio club, as well as to us at the Robotics Group.

The main condition of the donation is that the plastic reels which the components are packaged on must not leave the BR05 club-room -- this is very important.

In terms of actual components, they will be up for grabs at the Robotics meeting tomorrow (as well as the Tuesday evening BR05 meeting). Prices are 'reasonable donations' to our host club, via the brown-box.

If this interests you, bring some plastic bags, pieces of paper to mark contents, and a pen.

Component sizes are mainly 0603 and 0805 which can be handled reasonably easily.

Finally, please apply a little social conscience about how much you take; maybe limit purchases to 10% of each reel, or 300mm strip lengths, whichever is the smaller.

A quick show of hands via this email service would be appreciated this evening just to gauge level of interest.

See you Monday evening.

Regards,

Mark
