I love Helmuts idea of the missile launcher, but can't help but think a
localized jammer will be a bit less work.

Now, Mr Gardner, you have your amateur license, and apparently,
according to your license :

... you are allowed a kilowatt on 2.4GHz; some PAL FM video would
legitimately occupy some broad spectrum. Possibly a test card with your
callsign.

In terms of antenna, the ever popular grid pack
(https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1608128429) but maybe
a lower gain version, with a wider beamwidth.

You may only want to put this on the air (maybe 20 mins at a time -
drone battery life) when a threat has been detected.

For a broadband receiver, AD8318, with 2.4GHz Band pass filter
https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1607039465, and maybe
preceded by a preamp

Interestingly, just found

As usual, the Christchurch Robotics Group does not condone illegal
activities, but does encourage free-thinking and discussion.

Regards, Mark
