[chbot] email hiccup

Hello everyone,

This morning I was greeted by a large number of list unsubscribe 
notifications from our email message reflector-thingy.

Andy sent a message out which appears to have initiated the landslide, 
but it is unclear what the actual fault mechanism was.

Briefly, every gmail account was affected, along with a couple of others.

This is the second time (in five years ?) that this has happened, so not 
a serious concern to me (who had to re enable all accounts by hand).

Earlier, I enabled one gmail subscriber, then asked Andy to send out a 
test message and nothing untoward happened.

As with last time, the fix has been to wait 12 hours after the 
landslide, then fix things by hand.

Hopefully everyone is back on the list now.

Please understand that none of this has been deliberate on behalf of 
admin, and no hidden messages or hints are being suggested !!

If there are any future occurrences, it would be most appreciated if you 
could go into your account via kiwibots.org, and re-enable your own account.

Also appreciate if we keep discussions about this event to a minimum; I 
will take a deeper look in due course, but my finger are already tired :)
