I'll try and explain a better gripping and tensioning system
You have two spools A and B side by side, the spools have v grooves in them for better grip and B is spring loaded from A.
A guide is used to put the string in the first groove on A then it goes to the first on B back to the second on A second on B and so on.
The string is kept tight and cant snarl up.
