Hello everyone,

Good turnout, with 20 attendees and $38 collected and transferred to
BR05 account. Quite a considerable balance is in the donation box.

With thanks on behalf of the group,

============

Bill, friend of Richard, arrived complete with Ukulele, and sound
controlled dynamic rotary-tri-colour-LED widget. Very cool, and
distracting application.

Peter Harris brought along his LiPo ‘power shelf’, complete with
home-made processor controlled eight channel cell conditioning unit. A
masterful integration of firmware, hardware and MDF. An interesting and
entertaining presentation followed.

Richard Jones brought in the group’s 3D printer, and spent a good deal
of the evening picking the brains of several of our 3D printer experts
(including Marek; thank you).

William brought in his ‘286 laptop, complete with 640k RAM, and 20M hard
drive. The building lights dimmed as it was powered up J

Henry A talked about the youtube account
https://www.youtube.com/user/AcrodesignerLNSNI; a Norwegian who takes
delight with electric flight, as does
https://www.youtube.com/user/callum22. He also made mention of
http://www.maslowcnc.com/

Andy mentioned the eVelocity-fest 27 Nov 2016 this year at the A&P
showgrounds. Evolocity.co.nz

Volker brought in a USB tester, as well as discussing various electrical
safety issues. He also talked through a universal charger/conditioner
(gearbest.com) that he purchased US$90.

Richard displayed his Peak Meter MS8236, true RMS display. Unit has a
USB interface, and sells for around US$42, delivered (aliexpress).
