[chbot] Building bridges with drones

Hi Volker,
 
That was posted to a facebook UAV group a few days ago and when I saw it I was really wanting to see the out takes where  the string/rope gets caught in a prop and winds around the motor. :-)
 
(or is it just me??)
 
This is another very cool video using similar swarm navigation techniques with quite a bit more artistic intent:

Down side with these technologies so far seems to be they "cheat" and use absolute co-ordinate systems or datums established in enclosed spaces using laser/ultrasonics.
 
Free-space autonomy / co-operation will be a big leap, although somewhat illegal in most countries at this stage as well which is a whole other discussion...
