I would favour a neutral cure heat resistant silicone sealant, which
should have no problems keeping the inside dry from boiling water.
Painful to put together though. The advantage over araldite would be
that there's no risk of cracking from thermal or other stress.

Shoo goo is only specified to 66degC and thus of no use here.
