Really? Wishful thinking is free. Let's try. :-)

I asked, HLK-RM04 module:

1) What software runs on this device?

2) How can I re-load the firmware on this device?

3) Is the source code available for download for the operating system
and router software that runs on this device?

They answered:
From: "info at hlktech.com" <info at hlktech.com>

1.The RM-04 module run Linux.

2. You can't re-load the firmware yourself, but only we can.

3.There is no files for download.

So, usual story. Until they get lawyer's letters they perceive no need
to do anything.
And it's a black box, as-is, where-is. Stuff the buggers.

The guy on Indiegogo is far more communicative and deserves support for
an open design that reuses standard software components.
