There are two.

1) Framaroot, by alephzain

You must install the apk from the above link. You pay a pittance of
$1.65 for the app on google; its installation is optional because it
does absolutely nothing (other than collect your donation).

2) towelroot, by geohot (George Hotz)

Its website is a bit, hmmm, hackish.


Both have paypal donation addresses too.

Framaroot installs a supersu app as well, towelroot may not. There are
several of them around.

I haven't tried either because they're not needed on the W200S (just run
a root shell from adb, copying your favourite supersu apk into place
shold be sufficient), and I haven't messed with the W100 yet. There are
so many reports of success it's impossible for these not to get you root
if used as told.

I would be reluctant to run the whole phone on root though, that's so
Microsoft 95. If you collect info on how to control which parts to run
as root let me know please.
