A couple of members visit the Bay Area regularly, this is the flea 
market I mentioned last night

I have seen some amazing stuff there including a 10W laser scalpel, a 
freshly decommissioned weather RADAR from a 737 and a full set of 
dichroics from a colour TV camera...

About a 30 min drive south from San Francisco and well worth the trouble
