[chbot] OT: VOIP phone services and hardware

Thanks for the replies so far.

I quite like the idea of separating the adsl modem from the sip phone. That
way I can readily use wireshark to find out what is going on :-)
Also when I move to fibre the sip stuff will not go obsolete. I achieve
similar benefits keeping the wifi separate from adsl. At the modest level
of cost and non-recurring fees I reckon I will get value for money out of
the education the project provides. The Cisco SPA112 has codecs and SIP V2
compatible with 2talk. Maybe I'll splash out on a fancy sip phone when I
get it all working.
