Hi Robin

I went through the same exercise about 6 months ago and settled on the Hantek
DSO5202P Digital storage oscilloscope 200MHz 2Channel scope and am very
happy with it so far. The firmware and UI have been well written. The knobs
are also push buttons which are used to quickly reset things like DC offset
to zero - nice when you have "lost" your waveform. The only annoying thing
is that the display has a non-decimal number of grid divisions, so instead
of each grid division being 1s, for instance, it may be 800ms. It also has
various maths function including an FFT which I have found useful as a
crude spectrum analyser substitute.

You are welcome to borrow it and have a play if you wish or I could bring
it in for the next meeting. In fact that would be a nice idea for a theme
for one evening - everyone could bring in their cheap imported test gear
for others to check out.

Cheers
Brindsley
