[chbot] Rural treat for next meeting :)

Greetings all

As suggested at the last meeting, the members of the Club are invited to
my place for an examination of micro electronics in a rural setting a
couple of days before our normal 3rd Monday of the month meeting. This is
in place of the Monday meet.

I expect to be able to show you the automatic window openers on the tunnel
house, the wind turbine controller, the irrigation controller as well as
the mechanical and electrical (and plumbing!!) parts of these embedded
systems.


The date:
   Saturday 19th January 2013

The time:
   4pm to 7pm

The place:
   992 Newtons Road, West Melton

Directions:
1.   West Coast Rd (SH73) to West Melton township, turn left then
immediately right into West Melton Rd and go past the Domain (tennis
courts, bowls etc).
About 3km further on turn right into Newtons Rd at the 45km/hr bend in the
road. 1km up to the cross roads, straight across and 992 is about 300m on
the right. Its the only 2 story house along here!!

2. Main South Rd (SH1) about 6km past Templeton turn right into Weedons
Ross Rd (between SouthHort bark supplies and the overtaking lanes). 3km
along here turn left into Newtons Rd. 2km and straight across at the
crossroads - this is where the route joins that from the West Coast Rd
above.

Note that Hoskyns Rd from Rolleston is closed until March
