For those of you that were interested in 3d design software...

My current favourite is FreeCad....http://sourceforge.net/projects/free-cad/
(the price fits my budget perfectly)

But towards the really simple end of the spectrum is
tinkercad....https://tinkercad.com/
Its an online service only, but is really easy to use.

And for 3d models in general, try thingiverse.com.
