Gents
EDL Fastners (and Blacks I think) have some more heavy duty versions 
that llok like this

sorry only link I could find...
They have a threaded outside (9mm hole) and an internal thread.
You use an allen key to wind them in.

They come in either countersink flange or a flange.


I'll try to remember to bring one along for you all to see.
Very useful, and rather strong.
