[chbot] FPGA Applications

Thanks to Mark Artherton for an excellent impromptu talk about gate arrays
last night.
I mentioned that a colleague of mine (Greg Smith) had constructed a gate
array based transceiver.
The project is open source and is called High Performance Software Defined
Radio (HPSDR) is located here :http://openhpsdr.org/
The HPSDR uses an Altera gate array that is supported with the Quartus 10.1
tools that Mark gave out on DVD last night.
