Hi,
Micah has code running on the Propeller that turns the Propeller into a USB
host.  He's already supported all sorts of devices- including a $2 Bluetooth
module.  See here:

This should make it possible to easily interface the Propeller (and it's 32
high speed all purpose IO pins) to any phone which can be a USB host/slave.
