[chbot] eDay "waste"

I've just heard that it's eDay this Saturday, when people can drop off  
their unwanted computers etc. for recycling. What a gold mine for  
robot parts — printers, scanners, mice...

Has anyone scored parts from this in the past, or have intentions to  
this year? I'm thinking about just heading to a drop-off point and  
asking nicely.

As they say, re-use is better than recycling!
