[chbot] UAV anyone?

I want to do a UAV (robot plane) and thought that might make a cool team 
project, at least for brainstorming.

I'm wanting to do this in phases:

* Simple: By making an airframe (ie. plane) that is inherently very 
stablestable, the UAV probably does not need as much in the way of tilt 
sensors, gyros etc. Something like a flying wing with differnetial steering 
might make a good start.

* Hack an RC plane so that the plane can be operated as a regular RC or 
switched into automatic. That provides an override when needed.

* Get proper tilt/gyro compensation. Allows a better performance wing.

* GPS navigation with waypoints: Fly 5km automatically and land without any 
intervention.
