[chbot] Next Meeting: Wed 20th Feb 7.30pm Science Alive Seminar Room

Our next meeting may turn out to be a little busy, so turn up early  
to get a seat :-)

Hanno Sander will be along to show us his danceBot, a balancing robot  
that can dance!  The robot uses a bunch of sensors to appear  
intelligent- including a gyrosocope, accelerometer, compass,  
ultrasound, and a camera.
Come along and see what's possible!

Also we should have demonstrations from each of the four lucky  
winners of the propellor processor boards that Hanno kindly gave away  
at our December meeting. Anyone care to reply to this email list  
regarding progress? My last visitors leave on Monday then I can get  
back to hobbies and my new propellor board.

Anyone else have anything that they would like to present?

Finally if we find that there is too much content for a meeting held  
every other month I could progress the thought of an alternate  
meeting on odd months, Any thoughts on this? What day, what content.  
I can negotiate with Science Alive for another evening if there is  
sufficient interest.
