You know how sometimes you just can't get an idea go?  

I know that this is slightly wasted effort, but as per the purdy

Total cost with locally sourced 16F876A is 32, or with 18F2431's I can
make em for about $25, including PCB and cable to go..

I've just got to test the software fully to see if it works as a suite
of tools.  I'll be using 'tiny bootloader' from:

Which I've used on a 18F252 before, and it does the job just nicely.

I really should get out more often.
