This is sort of robot related- if you have a huge grunty motor and you need
some FETs to drive it. If you are interested, please ask me for Russell's
email address (I didn't want to post it to the list).

Thanks

A friend has offered a share in the purchase of some 600 Volt 20A N
Channel FETs - details below.

Anyone interested in buying some please advise asasap.

Price - see below, at cost but will probably work out about $2+ each
after reshipping to people. I suggest a minimum order of 10 and
increments of 5 if possible. Anyone wanting less advise, but I'd
prefer not too many small orders.

One of these in a bridge would allow control/switching of most
appliances.

Russell,

I have been offered a special deal on a pack lot of Infineon CoolMOS
SPW20N60C3 MOSFET's.

Headline specs are:

Vds   = 600V   (min @ Tjmax)
Ids   = 20.7A  (@ Tc=25C, 13.1A @ Tc=100C)
Rdson = 0.19   (max @ Vgs = 10V)
Qgs   = 11nC   (max @ Vds = 480V)
Ton   = 10ns   (typ @ 380V, 20.7A)
Toff  = 100ns  (max @ 380V, 20.7A)
Tr/Tf = 5ns    (typ @ 280V, 20.7A)
Trr   = 800ns  (diode max @ Vr = 480V)
case = TO-247 (unsure if isolated tab)

These are designed for high efficiency switching high voltage at high
speeds
and were introduced by Infineon in 2003 (not sure of actual datecode).

Price to me is AU$1.5259 ea plus shipping for a pack of 240pcs (9
packs
available).

I would be interested in getting some but I don't need 240 pcs so am
looking
for others who would be interested in taking a reasonable number.

Coverted to NZ$ and allowing for $20 shipping they would be around
NZ$1.85
each. Farnell's price is $9.34 ea (100-off) plus shipping.

Let me know ASAP if you are interested and how many you would want.

Regards,

Ken Mardle
